I am very lucky to have 5 Rolleiflex Cameras. one Bought ( 1962 2.8F Planar) and 4 Given -- the latest a Model 'T' from Sons of my Deceased Best Friend of over 60 years. I Have done 20x16 " B&W prints for my Camera Club and won a few awards. I did a VIDEO about my first 4 Rolleis with 'Stories How I Got Them' and Sample Prints which you can see here : Here are a couple of Snaps on 1998 dated Fuji Reala film taken on my latest Gift Model 'T' the Old Almshouses Chapel, Ingatestone Village ESSEX ( England) at f4.5 on 75mm F3.5 Tessar Rollei T Reala 07 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Stopped down to f8 Rollei T Reala 09 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr
Some very nice images, Peter, while the rolleiflexes are nice, my preference is for my Mamiya C3, the only advantage being the interchangeable lenses, of which I have 3.
Craig -- I have also a Mamiya C220 given by a Camera Club member before he died! he had it in his Loft for years -- hardly ever used but luckily NO Fungus in lenses -- i have done some exhibition prints with it too Mamiya C220 A by Peter Elgar, on Flickr and I did a VIDEO about it here :
nice camera Peter, mine is also in good condition, I put a shoulder strap off a camera bag for more padded support around my neck to replace the thin one on the camera, it is a bit on the weighty side, this I don't mind but the thin strap cutting into my neck had to go, with mine come a 65mm F3.5 lens. a 135 F4.5 lens and a 80 F2.8 lens. It took a little while to get use to adjusting for bellows factor but no issues now as I have a manual for it. I also have a really crappy padded box it come in, this now gathers dust under my house.
I agree with Caladina, if you have anymore please put them up, the monthly comp. helps stimulate activity with in the forum.
The comp is to stimulate canon use on the forum but still put up medium format for discussion in other areas.
