I can do that. I noticed that the copilot is neither smiling or waving at you. And while I am at it, why couldn't you find a military aircraft painted with rainbows, flowers, and butterflies on it. These coloured aircraft are so hard to see against grey clouds. What are you finding that the sweet spot settings are for this camera? Thanks for chiming in Gary. Man alive! It was very frustrating trying to get accurate and consistent results from the 90D. I watched many, many, many You Tube videos and I couldn't find a single one that addressed my problem...sharp, sharp pictures...I just couldn't get them. It all came out soft. I was out in my backyard today and decided to "shoot it all" so to speak, what have I got to lose. I cranked the ISO up to 1600, shutter speed to 4000 and aperture to f8. The results were great. So I decided to call Canon, lucky me we have a service center here in Southern California, the technician there told me that better results were voiced by customers that high shutter speeds work better on cameras with high pixel count sensors. I'm going to try further testing with high shutter speeds. Where I was shooting at 2000 and 2500 on my 70d I'm going to shoot at 3200 and 4000 with my 90D, I might even try 5000. I have to work up a combination of ISO and aperture settings for such high shutter speeds. Fun, fun, fun.
Well that is interesting to know. I would have guessed that you would have been aiming for the lowest ISO possible. I just had a rummage on the net to see what the pixel count is on your camera, 32.5mp. That is pretty impressive. Are you finding that it is more than enough, far too much, or just right? I guess cropping is pretty forgiving with this amount of pixels to play with. Gary
Yes Gary, ordinarily I would like to have shot with low ISO settings but in this case I had to jack it up to maintain the high shutter speed. I have a habit of over-shooting the lens' capability so the high pixel count sensor is a plus for me. I'm still trying to work out a good set of adjustments for this camera...I'm still getting more than average deletions primarily because of missed focus. I'm still getting a lot of soft images, even where the focus point is on the sharpest spot is not sharp. Frustrating to say the least.
