    Happy shooting!

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

Here a a couple of images to get the ball rolling, this sign is unique to Australia, as the suburbs are amongst bush-land (known as forests in other countries) and the Kangaroos tend to come down from these areas to feed on the lawns and gardens from late evening early morning. In Tasmania we have Native Hens, various ducks etc. wandering onto the roads around the suburbs and reserves.

Well, it would be wouldn't it?

I'm afraid I have had to dip into the archives for this one - current lockdown restrictions preclude going out to capture it again.

I hope I don't have to explain it.....

OH, beauty, another image. I thought I might have been the only one putting something up this month, excuse the poor pun but it seems to a sign of the times.

Despite the time that has elapsed, there are limitations to move freely derived from the COVID19 pandemic. From the terrace of my house I see the upper part of the Godo Group building, it is a large communication group that includes various media, such as newspapers, magazines and TV.
Last January 5, I photographed the building in the afternoon with the lens, which I normally carry with the Canon, which is the Canon 15-85 mm.
    The EXIF DATA:
    Aperture Value: F32
    Exposure Time:1/30 sec.
    Exposure Program: Shutter Priority
    Speed Ratings ISO : ISO-800
    Focal length : 85 mm. IMG_1535ch.jpg

At night I changed the location and the lens a bit, I put the 135 mm., from Takumar and I shot the same sign with a tripod, when I pressed the shutter I caused a little jitter, which is noticeable if you look closely.
    The EXIF DATA:
    Aperture Value:--
    Exposure Time:2,5 sec.
    Exposure Program: Shutter Priority
    Speed Ratings ISO : ISO-100
    Focal length : - IMG_1567ch.jpg

The next day, in the morning, I took a little walk, and I photographed the entire building, from a street in Barcelona. The sign that I photographed the day before does not look good, in your case you can see the sign of its main part, which includes the one from the newspaper "La Vanguardía", the photographed sign is found and barely visible on its left side.

    The EXIF DATA:
    Aperture Value: F8
    Exposure Time:1/50 sec.
    Exposure Program: Shutter Priority
    Speed Ratings ISO : ISO-100
    Focal length : 15 mm.

    A little Canon stuff
Cough, I have one. Not that it is a ripped off from a sign post. It's a plastic knock off.

I have a sign in mind for this months challenge. In fact I went out today with a dusted off camera to grab an image. And sod's law, it's gone.

All images taken with Canon M50 and canon ef-m 18-150mm
    some lessons learnt,
next time i intend on doing a set of pics for compilations i'll take more time in composing them in a similar way so they can be framed up better.

but in my defense it was bitterly cold and my fingers on my left hand were painfully cold i just wanted to go home.
all in all the subject of signs had so much more potential from me but with covid restictions quite high in UK and the cold its been missed.

as its the end of the month very soon i think a more sensible subject for February considering restrictions around the world might be Close ups / Macro its something we can all do from home or out and about

Yikes! It's the last day of January and I haven't uploaded any images.
Took a quick walk around our village with my 20D and the EF 75-300mm and my trusty Manfrotto monopod and got these:

Thank you, Craig. Yes, my old Canons are still performing well. The garden has been well planned and executed to cater for old buggers. :):D
