    Hi,
I'm looking at the Vanguard Sedona Wanderlust back pack as a lightweight alternative photographic rucksack. Has anybody got any experience of using this bag, is it as good as it's cracked up to be?
    Regards

don't have this bag but I do have others no matter how light it is. The more compartments it has, you tend to fill with gear and it becomes heavy, to me lightweight means less pockets for less gear and weight.

    Hi Craig
I think you are absolutely right. It is obvious really. I tend to carry way too much gear, just in case :)
    Sound advice, thanks

I can definitely relate to carrying too much gear I used to use back in my 20's a Computreker Plus from Lowepro which was at least considered a 400 or better in size, it was a lot to carry when I weighed it down my my dslr a medium format and a couple of lenses. I may have went with this one instead if it was an option back then, who knows. It does look like a nice pack to carry much gear.

I still like to carry to much, my favorite is a Flipside 400 which is a bit more compact, but sill has plenty of room, it also opens up to the back instead of forward so no one is going to rummage through it while your carrying it.
