Wonderful Speedlight Built Only For Canon DSLRs.

    Greetings all,

    I wanted to share some info on a recent purchase of a Sunpak RD2000 Speedlight built only for Canon DSLRs. This is a small speedlight, light weight, has ability to bounce light off of a ceiling and walls.
    It also comes with a built-in diffuser and takes regular AA Alkaline batteries or AA rechargeables. It also has variable power strengths and a ready light to let you know all is a go for use. I like this speedlight a lot because it is so convenient that I just leave it on the camera permanently. I do not know if these are manufactured anymore. I bought mine from a private party who had it laying around for a long time and was quitting of photography and was willing to sell it to me for a very good price.

    It looks like a decent flash. Also if anyone wants another alternative, look at the Yongnuo flashes. Some of them support Canon's E-TTL and also HSS as well! I have a manual one that I bought years ago and it works fine, you just have to adjust the power yourself.

    +1 For Yongnuo, I haven't bought the flashes yet but have read good things. I do however really like their wireless trigger system which i use with my 580ExII's off camera.

    Side note: B&H still sells that sunpack for $100, but the Yongnuo version of the canon 600RT is only ten bucks more and a lot more powerful with a guide number of 197 instead the Sunpacks 66.
