Hi all, Am having problems with overexposure with photos on all modes in the basic zone (Mostly Landscape, Auto and Flash Off). Pictures appear washed out and the colours are not as vivid as they used to be. We are using a variety of zoom levels on the lens (Tamron 18-270). Also, when set to Auto, the flash keeps popping up as if there is not enough light, and this is in a bright outdoors area. I have updated the firmware to the latest version (1.1.5) and have taken the camera back to default settings. The camera did take great photos, but the quality has deteriorated over time. I don't have another lens handy that I can test with. I appreciate we are not comparing apples with apples, but my partners phone seems to take a sharper picture with better colour quality Any advice greatly appreciated.
I suspect this may be because of a setting such as exposure compensation forcing the camera to over expose by several stops given it sounds like it is washed out rather consistently. Can you post a couple of examples at different shutter speeds and apertures as well as the meta data that goes with the raw file so we can see what the camera is doing.
