This month's photo topic is "rule of odds" ...where odd number of main elements give a image a sense of imbalance, Thanks Craig for this months suggestion.

    Happy shooting!
    Again, the rules are simple:

Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    and most importantly have fun.

Craig, well documented the outdoor class, you can see the landscape, and good composition in a row highlighting the odd number.

This month has been a bit unusual. I was in Torredembarra and my wife was hospitalized. She was there for a week, and even though she's been released, she hasn't left the house. My cameras are in Torredembarra; due to the emergency, they stayed there. So I apologize because the last photos are from June and one from July.

IMG_4870h.JPG The first photo is a photograph of a Phalaenopsis orchid pot, with five orchids that meet the rule of odd numbers.

The second photo shows an adult helping two children light firecrackers. It follows the odd-number rule, It is during the celebration of the feast of Saint John. In Catalonia and other parts of Spain, the arrival of summer is celebrated with a festival called "verbena," which consists of going out to have fun and building bonfires, the meaning of which is to burn everything left over from the past to begin a new life. This festival is actually the Christianization of the pagan festivals to celebrate the summer solstice, and throughout the northern hemisphere, the shortest magical night of the year was celebrated, albeit in different ways. José, I hope your wife gets better as family always comes first in what we do. The challenge and photography in general is for us to use our cameras and improve our knowlege and enjoyment, it is also a form of stress relief.
