PS. This is actually the front of a Muraro Vase, hand made in Italy. I thought everyone would enjoy the style and the colors. The vase is really quite small.

Many thanks for your comment Craig. I may not be over the hill, but from where I am standing, I'd say I have a pretty good view. :)

I miss the sixties, life was so much easier.
Today it is a mass of electronics, people don't talk to each other face to face and the sanctity of living in a family unit is no longer important.

Hey man, that image is really cool. Like wow!

As the famous quote says: "If you can remember the 1960s, you weren’t really there.".
I was there and I can remember it...just!

I feel that what I miss the most is: My Youth. There was a British author, poet and playwright by the name of: W. Somerset Maugham, who once said and I quote: " How unfortunate that youth is wasted on the young." :( Tony

Personally I think that if I went back in time to my youth, I would make the same stupid mistakes but learning from our mistakes is how we gain experience and knowledge. There is a saying here in Australia, "you can not put a old head on young shoulders"

I remember the 60's, it's the 70's that I cannot remember much, old enough then to make rather a lot of mistakes. If I knew then what I know now......

Is that something akin to: "You cannot teach an old dog new tricks?" :)) Tony

I don't think so, my students in my photography class range from 66 to the oldest at 91 and they have done quite well going from auto on new cameras to regularly shooting in manual and a variety of shoot styles.
They all have and use computers including the use of Photoshop.
All of this has been new technology to them.
My class has been going for six years now, two have been there since day one.

Well, obviously the reason they are successful and happy is because of the excellent quality instructor they are so fortunate to know. Tony

Thanks for your kind words Tony but I have not been professionally trained or educated but relied on my military training as a army reserve corporal ( most of my learning come from You Tube ) and I don't take what we do seriously but more into fun and field trips that are only ten to fifteen minutes away with the occasional weekend one and a fair bit of one on one.
