.Started at age 10 or so with a box 620 Kodak something.
.Used my dad's Canonet 28, what a difference.
.Got married and bought a luxury Minolta 110 camera.
.Worked at a camera store and acquired a Nikkormat FT2, some basic primes, and later a Nikon F2S Photomic that I could not even begin to challenge. What a beast ! And then I dropped it, twice. Ouch.
.Got divorced and into AF with a Nikon F501 and then an F801. Nice. By then I was carrying a load of lenses and accessories and not taking too many pictures.
.First hand at digital, Minolta Dimage X. Talking about pocketable. Talking about new tech : 3 to 5 minutes to save a 2 mpx RAW.
.Time to start over : sold everything, for a small, light and cool Sony DSC-F828. Ok for about 2 years...
.Then : The venerable Sony DSC-R1 with that incredible Zeiss optic at the front end of it. And that slow processor inside...so...
.Back to DSLRs : an eye-opening experience called EOS 40D. And the legions of Canon optics. It was only a question of time for the upgrade to FF.
.THE EOS 6D : worlds most underrated camera. Still in love with it.
.Next : ? NOT the mkII (too expensive now) but its smaller predecessor the EOS 80D ; nervous little devil.Interact
