Can the 24-70mm f2.8L version 1 be used on canon Eos R. Any drawbacks for this combo?

    Equipment:
    Canon Eos R, 100mm f2.8L, 40mm f2.8 and old 24-70mm f2.8L
    Hi every 1 i have been using the eos R. And recently got a secondhand 24-70mm f2.8L version 1. Has any1 here used this combo. Are there any drawbacks for this combo. Any focusing issues considering the older version of lense. Thank you.

    The lens is a great lens, I can't imagine you having any issues with the combo. Regarding focusing, since your using a mirror-less camera your focus is on screen is exactly what the sensor sees, you shouldn't have focusing issues.
