Apparently a couple of nights ago a large-ish older gentleman parked some of his livestock on our roof, and he then managed to squeeze himself down our chimney and leave a few presents under our Christmas tree. And I slept through all of this!

So did any of you people get any photography related presents?

I got some money that I am spending on an old Sigma 28mm f1.8 high-speed wide aspherical that I won on ebay. It will probably turn out to be a turkey and as I can only use it on my D30, not my 450D, (usual old Sigma AF lens incompatability with thr more modern Canon digital bodies), it's use is limited but it has to be better than getting more socks.
    Anyway a "Turkey" is seasonal.

I got my self some photo presents, updated from a 5d2 to a 5d4 with a price adjustment I had a little bit of store cash so I grabbed some accessories including Peak Design's strap clip and grip. And I picked up the sunset filter set for my Lee Holder system.

    * In short I spent way too much this year, but its been a decade since I bought my last body so I was able to argue with myself that it was ok.
