I was trying out my 'Gift' 1990's EOS 1000FN to see if it did indeed 'Follow Focus' on moving subjects as it says in the Instruction Book BUT it FAILED ! I was using the included Sigma UC Zoom 70-210mm f4-5.6 at about f6.7 and outdated Kodak T400CN Chromogenic C41 film which I home-processed.
These two ladies were not rushing at 40mph so AL-Servo should have worked but they are not sharp

Not ONE gull is sharp but the BACKGROUND is !

I have a PENTAX MZ-5 which is also supposed to 'Follow-Focus' so I am trying that next.
