Just a short drive down the road from Lake Tekepo.

Again, this trip has been done in the middle of our summer. Were thinking about a return visit in the winter. I have been told that your lucky to see the mountain with no clouds.

It would look a little better if there was less haze.

    Again same camera and lens.

I was down this way again a couple of days ago. I was lucky enough to have a still lake, for all of two minutes.

    Thanks Ray.

One thing that I learnt a long long long time ago was as soon as you see a scene that you wish to capture, grab it. Then look around for a better composure. This image was taken only a handful of minutes after the previous posted image was taken. Where I was standing there was not a breath of a breeze, but look at the lake surface, and the lack of a reflection.
