Hello everyone, I know we have had some discussions recently about contests and the like to get members engaged in shooting. I had a side discussion with Gary and I think in the interest of keeping at simple and sustainable, we do a monthly thread on a challenge topic and encourage people to photograph, share and critique each other.

My goal is this should be fun, motivating, and hopefully educational. Picking a monthly topic will help get people out of their comfort zone a little.

    The rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.
For March lets go really simple and open ended - the assignment is "Green".

As discussed, thanks for starting this thread.

Hopefully more than one entry per assignment each month. I have to admit that I am already thinking what I could go out to shoot.

    Ok,

So I have gone out today looking for something different that covers the subject matter. I am a day early. So I'll start this months assignment. I will post more images as I find them in the month of March.

I am not sure if I need to give the image a name. But here is a row of E scooters in the city, I am not sure if they were all in a nice row if that would have added anything. But this is how I found them. Taken with my RP, and 70-200.

looking at the photos I put up I think my lens is having a tendency to rear focus, any suggestions on how to fix it.
All shots were taken on auto focus.

I decided to take a stroll around my garden with the 20D and record different shades of green.

I decided to play around with this so went macro. These were all taken with my 80D, Canon EF Macro 100mm f2.8 USM lens, 3 Extension Tubes (12, 20 & 36mm's) and one or two were taken with a 2x teleconverter added to the mix (can't remember which photos).
