Can I connect an AC Power Adapter to my Canon 4000D

    Hello , I want to use my Canon 4000D as my webcam and I want to get an AC Power Adapter so that I dont have to charge my batteries all the time , would I be able to make that AC Power Adapter work on my camera

    I do not believe the camera has a power port on it to do that. I suppose someone may have rigged a solution using a battery compartment. I would get extra batteries. Keep in mind this is not the intended use for the camera, there are even 4gig video limits so that you only shoot 15 min of video to prevent the sensors from overheating. Its bad practice to be running constant video for extended periods of time on a large CMOS sensor.

    thats a good point about over heating, i hadn't thought of that
