Hi, I hope someone can help me with this.

I am thinking of upgrading the body only of my kit. I have several lenses for my 600D/Rebel T3i. Will they fit the 90D body? If not, is there an adapter available?

    Regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

You should be good to go with this body upgrade. No problems with using your existing lenses on this body.

No idea to be honest. One of the moderators should be able to answer that one for you.

Your only lens issue would be going from a EF-s lens to another sensor size body. You can use EF lenses on full frame bodies and crop sensor bodies, just not the other way around with EFS on full frame.

I'm inquiring about the name, but you used your full name for the user name i believe, You'll need to give Phil the user name you want if he can change it.

    Hi Chris,

Your 600D/Rebel T3i lenses are compatible with the 90D body. The Canon EOS 90D features an EF-S mount that works perfectly with all EF and EF-S lenses, meaning you won't need any additional adapters. While your lenses will work fine with the 90D, there may be discrepancies in image quality thanks to differences in image sensor and processor. That said, you might experience better image quality, particularly in low light conditions, depending on the specific lenses you have.

Chris, I suggest you take your lenses along to the camera shop you wish to purchase the camera from and put them on the camera you are interested in buying. Try them out and see for yourself how they go. A new camera is a expensive purchase and one you have to live with for a long time, this way you will be satisfied that no farther cost will be involved. Any good camera shop will allow you to do this.
