I am looking for recommendations on stand alone editing software that has the ability to outline crop a person or object and place them on a different background. All I can seem to find with that ability is adobe or inpixio but they are both subscription services and I am wanting a one -time purchase and install software with that ability. I have Digital photo professional that came with my camera that handles all my other editing needs.
You could look at picking up the older generation of Photoshop retail before they went to creative cloud. Also I believe Photoshop Elements is still available in retail versions, although I am not sure how well they do with editing in and out backgrounds as it is not something I do very often.
I am just trying to get started in that type of editing and as far as older retail versions of photoshop I have been unable to find it. And I am not sure that Photoshop elements has the feature I am wanting. This sucks having to try and find a program just for that one function.
