    Great photo. We rarely think of Starlings as such colourful birds.

    Great photo Kevin! good settings to get the nice details. Colours are good too. Bad news is these are classed as vermin in our state and have to be controlled because they take over nests of our native birds since their introduction in the 1850's.

    they are noisy little buggers too, esp in large swarms they love nesting in the medium between carriageways on the roads where its harder for pred's to get to them, if you in slow traffic the noise is deafening.
