Canon Camera Connect app no longer working on Android?

Hi,
I have an EOS M10. Yesterday I tried the Canon Camera Connect app, which has been working fine in the past, but now I get a message saying that since changes to the android o/s specification the wifi on the app from v2.7.0 no longer works.
My phone is running Android v10. The Camera Connect app is 2.7.20.13. On the google play store the Camera Connect app says the app has been updated to support android 11 amd liat v10 as supported.
I've reinstalled the app but its atill not working.

Have you contacted the developer of the app? Go to google play store, navigate to your installed apps, find Canon Camera Connect App, then under the Rate This App section there's an expandable section called Developer contact. I'd suggest that that would be your best place to start for assistance, or even to report a bug which they may not be aware of.

Make sure the firmware on your camera is current too. The app isn't compatible to older firmware versions. I had to upgrade my T6 recently to get it working with the app.

 

Thank you, will give it a try, but dont hold out much hope since my camera is discontinued.

Have just tried to send Canon an email from tje Google app store and their email address is not working....
