    Hi all,

Question!! Has anybody out there got a canon eos 90D and a Tamron SP AF150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD
lens (not G2, older model). If so whats the image quality like as I have heard that you need ironically expensive totally top of the range lenses to take a good quality photo due to the amount of mega pixels. And I'm
worried that my lenses won't cut the mustard. I have checked on all my other lenses and I have read they should be ok.

I do not own any Tamron, but from what I have hear the lens is a pretty good performer. Sounds like its pretty sharp except at the far end, but I think you can expect it will not perform at the same level as a $13k 600mm L lens. I'm sure it will perform well for you as long as you know its limitations. Definitely a great idea to read some reviews of any lens online and see how they perform. Hopefully someone on here can speak to their personal experience.

    thanks jonsey,
Your right about the top end of the lens, the sharpness fades a little. I have been using it at 400 and 500mm recently and the difference is very noticable.
