    Five to think about

    Colour
    - like we had green for the first one, pick a different colour, probably not black and white at the moment though, we have a good section for that.
New - something that might be a bit more challenging things that are brand new or just being born ie spring flower buds
Wrong images that have something out of place or not right about them, might be a good one to open up people to editing / manipulating images to make something in them wrong ( just thought of this while typing, i like this idea)
Must incude - pick an object that an image must include ie a bottle or a reflection, this is where the object selected doesnt have to be the main subject but it should be in the image somewhere, or of course it could be the main subject.
Straight lines - main focus of the image is straight lines, any way you want them, also the straight lines can be straight in real life but askew by photographic technique for the image, ie fish eye lens or water lensing etc

Maybe it would help inspire other members if the person setting the topic was also the first to contribute a picture?

Not in the southern hemisphere. Our days are getting shorter but I am sure that we will be able to cope.

That's fair Ray, but at least spring / fall are a nice middle ground that levels the playing field.

It's not a problem as the chosen theme is available regardless of the time of year and length of days.
