    Hi Friends,
I'm trying to get a medium zoom lens for my M50. I've tried Tamron 18-200 and a Canon 55-250. Although they were recommended (internet search) for this camera, neither would attach. Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks,...Jack

    Canons Page for the adapter:

Some links to M mount lens reviews to get you started if you want to consider M lenses:
    https://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-M-Lens-Reviews.aspx

Do you have both of those lenses or did you return one or both of them? There is a fair bit of overlap with the range on them if you kept both making them redundant. If you returned both I would consider what is your long term lens and camera body goals.

The reason I mention this is that canon has come out with full frame mirror-less now (RF mount) and I would imagine the M Mount wont get much attention since it really hasn't so far. Also those lenses you mentioned if EF-S lenses only work on crop cameras unless adapted to your mirrorless. Standard EF lenses (suitable for full frame) would be more universal since they cam be mounted or adapted to any of the mentioned body types.

    Thanks, Johnsey!
No, I don’t have any Additional zoom lenses for my M50 yet,...
I’m considering the Canon 55-200 and the 75-300 with adapter,.......though thinking the 75-300 might feel too large on the smallish M50.
I’m hoping to hear from actual users of the above,....or others,...

if its any help i have just recently got the sigma 100-400mm f/5-f/6.3 DG OS HSM C for my m50 you will need the ef adapter.
i choose this lens over others for the price and weight, the intended use for it was wildlife and solar system objects to which it it is very good at both, i was quite surprised at how amazing it is inside for close up work too.
at 100 - 400 range i can hand hold it and get good sharp images, with a X2 i can still hand hold it at 800mm but using my grippa bean bag for extra support on slower shutter speeds makes it alot sweeter.

    [QUOTE = "Caladina, post: 10436, member: 2572"] se è d'aiuto ho appena ricevuto il sigma 100-400mm f / 5-f / 6.3 DG OS HSM C per il mio m50 avrai bisogno dell'adattatore ef.

    ciao, grazie
