Canon t6i rose rebel viewfinder taking pictures with?

    I try taking pictures with canon t6i canon eos rebel viewfinder my pictures come out to bright and to dark I tried changing settings shutter speed, aperture, iOS nothing works.,

    when I take pictures with lcd screen same pictures turn out Perfectly I like take pictures with viewfinder i can tell if my picture will be out of focus or not with better judgment and battery does not faster with eyepiece is there any possible way I can take pictures using canon eos t6i rebel through eyepiece to save on my battery power?


    I hate ask someone bestbuy those people know almost nothing unless it’s geek squad which is helpful thank you.,

    there is no need for answer to this problem I forgot change setting in manual mode to one shot or AI focus that solved problem

    Hi Awa, and welcome to the forum. You should be able to take images that are correctly exposed when you are using the viewfinder, and not have to rely on the rear LCD. Just a quick question, when you are using the viewfinder, and your images are coming out too bright or dark, are you keeping your eye to the viewfinder? Or are you taking your eye away from the camera when you take these images? Also, do any of your images when you use the viewfinder come out correctly exposed?
