Seriously underexposed Red Rose.

    Canon EOS Rebel T5 with Canon EF-S 18~55mm kit lens and Canon EF-S 55-250 mm 1:4~5.6 IS II
    Telephoto Lens.
    Taken with: Pentax K-7 body and an SMC Takumar F 70~210 mm lens.

    1/30s. F/5.6, ISO 200, 3EV, Manual Exposure Mode with Multi-Segment Metering.

    I wanted to try something different by underexposing a red subject. Interestingly enough, I truly like this image a great deal. I find it very fascinating. Hope you folks enjoy it as well. Cheers, Tony K7_01189.JPG

    i take it the under exposure was done in post?

    Caladina, this image was/is completely SOOC. You can see there was no Cloning and Healing. I am glad that you like it. Thank you very much. :) Tony

    Oh,oh! The Sherriff is back in town. Thanks Craig, that was good for a great laugh. Actually, this was taken on a day with harsh sunlight. It just so happened that the subject was tucked away deep in the Rose Bush under plenty of shade. I have been experimenting with ways of
    capturing the reds better with my Pentax gear. Wish me luck. Thanks again for your comment. Funny as hell. Cheers, Mate. :)
