I have Canon M50 and it seems EOS Utility is not compatible with Windows 11.

Could someone pls help me with how I can remotely control Canon M50? I want to see the camera's screen on my Laptop during shooting. Thanks!!

have you tried using the usb cable, i'm on macbook so i can't help with windows stuff, the software works with mine so i'm not 100% sure if the cable alone will work.

on mine it works in live shooting with and without the cable (wifi)

have you updated the firmware and then checked the canon website for the latest windows software?

Sachin, windows 11 is showing difficulty in various areas as Microsoft changes the design more and more so consumers are forced to use newer and Microsoft preferred software, Jonsey may be your biggest help as he is knowledgeable in this area.

I dont have windows 11 so i cant even speak to 5d compatibility with it. But i know there have been some reported issues with people early adopting Win 11.

M50 is an older camera. Are you using the most up to date EOS Utility 3.15.20 for Windows? That is the one listing Windows 11. If your still having issues it may need to be patched in a future update.
