Hi, could someone tell me if I'm missing something silly/obvious please? I've bought a second-hand 2000D. I'm checking it over to see it's ok. One of the odd things is that the 'My Menu' option in the menus only shows when the selected mode is M, Av, Tv, or P (the 'Creative Zone') In the other modes, it's absent. I'll try to include photos of the menus. Is this normal?
I am assuming its based on this page (57) in the manual. But I have no experience with these entry level models. https://manuals.coolblue.nl/8f/canon-eos-2000d.pdf
Page 267 is where the 'My Menu' feature is described fully, but there's no mention of it being absent in certain modes. It's so odd. I feel as though Canon are well aware that absolutely no one uses those silly modes (portrait, food, etc) and hasn't even bothered to implement them properly!
