    All,
I've searched for this, still unable to find an answer.

Question is how do I (or 'can' I) lock the current settings when shooting so that if my fingers get twitchy I don't ramp up the shutter to 1/6400/s instead of say, 1/1600. Aperture also.

Also procedures on the R3 if it can do it. That thing gets bumped ALL the time. I blame big hands... :)

    Thanks!

welcome to the forum, MillerstreetFX, I do not think you can, but with a bit of tape and a small piece of cardboard, make a little cover up, set your shutter speed then cover the jog wheel. This may be a solution to the problem.

By design as a photographer you also want to quickly change settings while shooting so I don't see a good way to design it both ways. I guess a lock switch would be ideal that disables everything but the shutter.

But, depending on the subject, you could setup a tripod and use a remote to trigger, then you would not fumble the settings. :D
