If you want to do tethered shooting, either wired or wirelessly on an Android phone or tablet, I ran across an app a while ago that works really well with my T8i. It's called Camera Connect and Control.
I do not have any connection to, or affiliation with the company.
At the time I got it, it was free to use for three days, and then $9.99 to purchase.
You can get it from the Google Play Store.
Check first to see if your camera is compatible. They offer a wide range of compatible cameras.
I use Canon's Camera Connect on my phone, and this Camera Connect and Control on my tablet.
It's great for things like a humming bird feeder, or a duck blind, etc., or if you have to get real low to the ground, and your knees or back won't stand the strain.
Still photos immediately show up on my tablet, where I can download and save them.
VIdeos remain on the card until you manually transfer them with something like EOS Utlities.
