As a kid, I love popping the unopened Fuchsia flowers in my Mother's garden, till I got caught and then there was all hell to pay. Strange how she was easily upset when it came to her garden.
Thanks for your comment friend. You were lucky. Whenever I got caught rootin' around my Grandfather's acreage, I usually got a good tannin' from it. But, You know what? The fruits and vegetables I stole, were with it. Funny thing is, I was the only Grandchild that would help him in the acreage. (
I think our Parents and Grandparents were hard on us because they had a high expectation of what they thought we should achieve and do with our lives and I think you will find they never said so but they usually had some pride in what you did achieve. To have given praise easily would not have been considered.
