I just purchased this camera. I have been using cameras for over 50 years. Without question the strap on this particular camera is horrible. The illustration in the manual looks like it was done by a 5th. grader. While it maybe a great camera the strap is almost unusable.
Hi Jerry. The strap setup on the T7 is weirdly overcomplicated for no reason. I ended up tossing the stock strap and grabbed a third-party one with quick-release clips, which is way more comfortable and easier to deal with. I wouldn’t mind if Canon updated that part of the user manual either!
