    Hi,
I have recently upgraded from a 7d to a full frame 5d mk4, which is a very nice camera, but I am still looking for the right lens. I have a 24-70 which is a good general purpose lens, and a 150-600 which gives me reach. On my 7d I have an 18-200 which I found perfect for travel. It would handle landscape pictures yet give me a zoom if I saw wildlife at the same time without having to change my lens. So far, my searches have not found a similar choice for a full frame camera. Any suggestions ?
    Thank you

It depends on what sort of travel you do. I like a 35F2 or faster for museums. European travel needs an ultrawide. I would check out the 16-35F4IS. I also can recommend the 24-104F4L if you want something longer, but you already have the 24-70.

Agreed, Id rather more than one lens, the 28-300 L is pricey and I still think I would rather have my 70-200 2.8 for travel and pair it with my 17-40, which is not cheaper mind you, its my on the go combo go to if i want to have some reach on both ends of zoom. If I am doing any portraits I will make room for my 50mm. You will sacrifice somewhere when you try to make a lens do everything. Usually with long zoom ranges its at least speed and you end up 5.6 or slower, read reviews so you know the weak spots of any lens.

The 17-40 is excellent for travel. It is an ultrawide on full frame and a general purpose lens on crop.

100% I picked this up originally in 2004 when i bought my 20D and it was on my camera 90% of the time. Its a fantastic lens. Still gets more than half my use on my full frame cameras. That lens and my 50mm 1.4 make up for 80-90% of my usage.
