There are a few (lots) of rumors going around about the new full frame mirrorless EOS R. Just look on the net. Complete with new lenses, and adaptors. Looks to be a lot smaller than the standard DSLR. I know, there is nothing official released as yet.

If the specs are correct, it could be something I would really consider getting in time. More thinking of size wise. I would have to see a few reviews of what it is like in the real world first.

What do you guys think about it?

    Regards

    Gary

I know that mirrorless cameras are certainly gaining market share and they do offer benefits in weight and size but I still love my DSLRs and have no compelling reason to change at this point. But who knows what the future holds. I am not ruling anything in or out.

I agree with you on this Ray. I too will have to wait for someone with deeper pockets than mine to buy and sell it second hand. It is good to see technology advance and become available but at the moment what I have will do me for some time to come or continue to use film and process it.

Looks like it is out. Liking the look of the 50 f1.2, and 28-70 f2.

I wonder what eye watering price they are going to come in at.
