Sundar, I really like the third one especially in colour, you really nailed it.

 

I agree with Craig. #3 is my favourite.

 

Thanks Craig and Ray. The thing about #3 is it was shot with a mobile. I kicked myself for not having the DSLR when this event happened. It may have made a world of difference with a real camera.

 

Some of the cameras in mobil phones produce some nice photos now a days but it will always come down to the person behind the camera.

 

I like number three as well. But on my monitor, it looks like a photo, but the clouds look like a painting.

Thanks Gary. There was lot of grainy noise in the mobile shot. Did apply a smoothing filter.There is only so much one can do with this.

 

Ture. Think they don't do too well in low light situations.

 

The best camera is the one you have with you. I would not have known that it was taken with a mobile if you had not told us.

 

No, they don't. That is because they put too many mega pixels on a sensor that is VERY, VERY small. It is amazing what they can produce under bright conditions but don't expect them to compete with an APS-C or full frame sensor in low light.
