Does anyone have a preferred place to send their film cameras for CLA and/or repair? At the very least, I mean fixing squeals on A-series cameras.
Canon A-1 Canon FD 55/1.2 Kodak Colorplus 200 film [img]
The point is the water, frozen in the moment. The full size version is a little iffy compared to the preview image, as it was edited from a...
Canon A-1 Canon FD 55/1.2 Kodak Colorplus 200 (Converted to B&W in post) [img]
I keep changing my mind after getting different bodies :P I recently acquired an A-1, and I really like how it's basically all the other A-series...
Canon AV-1 Canon FDn 50/1.8? Fujifilm Superia 200 film [IMG]
The only option that exists like that is the Weincell, which is expensive, and doesn't last. I've already got adapters that take SR43 batteries.
I just acquired an FTb. I haven't run a roll of film through it yet, but the heft reminds me more of my Nikkormat than the AV-1 or AE-1. My only...
Thanks. Considering the color I've seen, I'm a bit sad that this particular film is now discontinued.
It seems to be contacts for teleconverters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EF_lens_mount see the "Communication protocol" section.
The only one I've used much is the Pentax PC35AF. It has autofocus and autoexposure. It has a flash for underexposure, but no sense of...
Canon AE-1 Fujifilm Superia 200 Tamron SP 52BB Adaptall (90/2.5 Macro) [img]
I'm one of those crazy collector photographers, with a bunch of cameras and lenses. I even keep a list of my stuff:...
Do all the T-series have that non-user-servicable battery? And does it matter if it dies (other than losing your settings)? Has anyone used both...
Dead, as in not in production. I'm not really a brand elitist. (I've got Pentax, Nikon, Canon, etc.) That said, I find the relative weirdness of...
Agfa Vista is getting nixed by Fujifilm. But C200 will probably be around until Fuji decides they aren't doing any C-41 film anymore.
I have only FD-mount Canon stuff. Because it's a 'dead' mount, the lenses and bodies tend to be inexpensive, while still being very usable....
So basically, it has program mode and built-in winding? Or, everything's auto except the focus? I'm kind of torn between fully mechanical cameras...
In terms of overall ease of use, I like the AV-1. AV exposure mode is generally more useful to me than the Tv mode that the AE-1 has.
It looks like it might be a Sony Alpha mount, one of the later variants without the screw-drive autofocus.
