The zoom controls on my 5d mkii doesn’t seem to be working, really hoping it’s user error. I can zoom out to see 9 images on the display but I’m unable to get back to viewing a single image. Reset to factory settings and still can’t see anything but 9 images. Can anyone help?

So the magnifying plus button (far right) does not zoom back into the selected image? That's how it should work.

Does pressing the same button while shooting go from the display on the left to AF point selection screen on the right?
If not my initial guess is that button may have died.

The display stays the same. Are we possibly looking at a main board issue here? Btw, thanks.

Possibly but if everything else functions well, my first thought is that the button is sticky or gave out. You may be able to play with the button and get it working again, much like a remote or car radio with a sticky button. This is a tough the camera is a fine camera, but sending for repair if I have to guess will probably cost half the going used value for the item.

Ya, it was the board. Well, shoot. Thanks though!
