Relatively new owner of Canon Rebel T7. Have been enjoying learning about it. One question: as I have
fairly pronounced tremor in my right hand, it is sometimes difficult for me to accurately get the 1/2 shutter
push to initiate metering and auto focus. I've become aware of back button focus and am wondering if there is a way instead to convert a back button to start the auto metering process?

    Thanks for your help.

Would also appreciate feedback on which of the back button modes to use? A bit confusing for me.......

    Thanks, jhark37 (John)

Welcome to the forum, John. I use back button mode on my Canon 60D and it works well for me. May I suggest you have a look at Youtube on how to do this and it's use.
