I have a 6d and Canon grip and have had no issue with either. Until today. Suddenly, my camera is only recognising one battery and it looks as if it isn’t recognising the grip at all.
Any ideas or suggestions? I’m loathe to buy a new grip if it’s something minor that I can sort.
    Thanks.

Kait, may I suggest that you give the battery compartment and the contacts a clean. Try some white vinegar specially if the is some corrosion, which will then allow good electrical contact, at a guess this may be why the battery is not being recognized.

Thank you so much Craig. I manage to sort it. It was, I’m embarrassed to say, simple user error. I hadn’t tightened the grip enough.
