I have a canon 5d4. It has developed bad habit! When I fire the shutter, it fires but then in the view finder any on the lower right on the back, it flashes “busy” for 2 to 3 seconds, before the shutter will fire again. i’m Using a 300 MB/s card. This occurs on single and rapid fire settings. What’s wrong?

Well, do you just have the one card? The busy is because it is writing to the card, so one would think that its most likely the card that is slowed. Not sure card age or mileage of use but my first guess would be to try another card to rule out that. DO you format in camera after each image dump? I always like to keep my cards clean and empty.
