    Hello,

Just wondered if anyone might be able to help - I recently bought a Canon 1300D (T6), which has a bit of a strange metering issue. When using Live View, pictures are correctly exposed. However, when using the viewfinder, the images come out severely underexposed. As an example, an image is correctly exposed at 1/60, f/1.8, ISO 200, using Live View. However, when using the viewfinder to shoot the same scene, it's suggesting 1/400, f/7.1, ISO 100, so the image is badly underexposed.

The issue is irrespective of which mode is being used on the camera, whether manual or auto. If I manually set the camera to the correct settings, the image taken is correctly exposed. In Live View, the EV scale puts the exposure around 0, as expected. But through the Viewfinder, it's off the scale!

Any idea what might be the problem?
