I bought this lens new, and it remains in pristine, like-new condition, with no scratches or signs of wear on the lens itself. There are subtle signs of wear on the lens cap and hood, but they don’t stand out. This has always been kept secure in the case when not in use. This is one of the most-used Canon lenses among professionals—and is my favorite lens. It lives up to all the hype: tack-sharp from corner to corner, across the focal range; excellent internal image stabilization; and super-quick autofocus. And it’s built like a tank--they will never make them like this again. While a bit hefty, the lens is well-balanced and feels nice in hand. I’m selling it because I have an RF camera and use extenders, which is easier with RF lenses. Originally, I used this lens with a 5D Mark IV--a *perfect* setup--but I no longer have that camera. More recently, I've used the lens with an R6 and the EF-to-RF adaptor, a setup which also works very well. For more images, let me know.
