I just need a simple question answered,
When I try to get it answered via Google the only thing that comes up are comparisons of the specs of the two cameras, but no answer to my most simple question:

CAN THE LENSES OF A CANON EOS REBEL T7 BE USED ON A CANON EOS R?

Thank you to anyone who can answer this.

    Yes and no.

A Canon EF, or EFs can not be mounted directly onto your Canon R mount body. However, if you have a EF to R adapter, you can then mount a EF or EF-s lens on your R mount body. If you are using a EFs lens, the R mount body will work in aps-c mode. I am not sure how many mega pixels you will be playing with.
