Hi, thinking of upgrading from the 760D to the new mirrorless RP Camera. I have a mixture of EFS and EF lens at the moment. I appreciate that the RP comes with a lens adaptor, but what effect will using an EFS lens have on a full frame camera? Will it be no difference, ie it will be a cropped image just like on my 760D or will any images be of a poorer quality?. I would imaging a lot of people will upgrade with EFS lenses, until they can afford new lenses, but i am hoping that the images will be the same or better quality on the new system.

I have the EOS R and my EF-S lenses are fully compatible. You just get a crop sensor size picture instead of full-frame.

That is precisely what I would have expected. What were you expecting?
