Hi Guy’s, This is my first post so please be gentle with me! I have Windows 7 and run Photoshop CS6. Microsoft no longer allow updates for codec on Windows 7, I use a 5Dmk3 and want to use CR2 Raw files. Does anyone out there no how to fix this problem? It just doesn’t seem fair for me to change my whole operating system because of this one minor issue. There a many youtube videos showing how to do it … but NONE of them work!! Please tell me there is a Canon Forum Smartie Pants somewhere out there who can help me!? Regards, Johnny
Photoshop CS6 supports updates to camera raw 9 and shipped with 7, the 5dm3 was included in raw support for camera raw 7, you should have support out of box. CS6 was built for Vista and Windows 7, all of this software is a bit dated, but camera raw is not a windows issue. Also can you explain the process your going through and where it is failing?
