December Monthly Challenge - "Pick a Color: Blue"

    This months photo challenger is "Pick a Color:Blue". It's been a while for a color challenge..

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

    i've had some great ideas for the previous couple of months but not had the time
    also been looking back through the years images to pick one for each month for Gary's challenge

    the EX ƒ2.8 17-50mm os sigma is also my latest lens, i did get a copy of it a while back but wasn't happy with the sharpness so i sent that back, since then i had been casually looking to see if another came up which was on the cheaper side so i could sell it on if it turned out to be just the level its at.
    well i found one on ebay for £160 which was same as i could get for it at mpb at the time so i took a punt on it and it turns out to be nice and sharp, more what i was expecting.

    i am currently working on another blue image but thats going to take time to complete so maybe later in the month
    oh and i nearly forgot about shooting something with as many of this years subjects in one image

    A little blue light
    Shooting a Rubiks cube under blue light compared to white (6600K) with a small godox R1
    canon ef-m 32mm ƒ1.4

    tbh i dont' think the rgb light does the same as filtered light but its a fun thing.

    before i get asked, yes i used to, can't remember now, just the trick stuff after, gf can.

    short trip out as it was so cold, ironically it snowed after this in London and i was able to go out in heels as it was a bit warmer lol

    Is it a blue filter, that does not normally get a lot of use.
