I recently picked up an Eos 1000D body fairly cheaply since there was no charger or battery. My initial intention was to sell it on, since in a lot of ways it's the same specification as my 400D. Now I've got it working it seems like an OK camera, with features like liveview which my old Eos 400D lacks, which could be useful since I use my Canon to test a lot of manual focus lenses.

I'm probably going to keep the 1000D and sell the 400D (once I'm absolutely sure the 1000D is OK) unless there are problems I'm unaware of.

So - any horrible flaws I should be aware of?
