    Happy shooting!

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

One of the charms of living in a very old (originally mediaeval) house is that you end up sharing it with all sorts of creatures.

The Death Watch beetle damage shown below (the larger round holes) is from a long-dead (I hope!) infestation in the huge oak beam which runs across the fireplace in what is now our lounge, but would have been the main and only room of the house when first built.

The smaller round holes are from the more common furniture beetle and the big hole at the top is the result of someone in the past trying to make a hole to mount a light or something similar.

Congrats on having a go at a image every day, this can only improve the way you view your subjects and by the end of the month, you will find a improvement in your photography compared to earlier work.

I know what I am going to shoot and I have got some images already. But I have given my sd card reader to someone. Tomorrow I should be getting a replacement so I should be back up and running.
