May have to start recycling some of the old ones,, I have really ran the gauntlet here on challenges. Sorry its a day late.

This month is pick a letter subject matter, I picked F for February, your subject should start with a letter F.

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

if you stuck for ideas i've been adding to the original set of ideas in the main thread, editing my first post rather than stringing them out

Yea i was glancing at the post a few min today and several of the ones I had actually used in the last year, I try to make some of the specific ones a little more open and have tweaked a few idea, also that why i skipped a few suggestions (for example sticky comes to mind, i mean subject matter would var be different but sticky is a pretty specific thing and I usually trend to give a bit more freedom). But if people are cool with more specific topics I'm cool there too :) .

I need to do an audit of ideas and used challenges, that said I see no harm in starting yo re ruse ones that haven't been used in a while either.

i get why you like the more open ones, it gives a topic more room for movement but sometimes if its too open i find it less inspiring.

ie instead of 'architecture' which covers a huge a number of choices go with "doorways" etc
it might also open up more future subjects as you havent already included everything under one big title a few moths before.

some of your "basic" ones ie aperture, focal or oldest lens have also worked well too, as have some of the more broader ones like holes or numbers where room for movement has allowed for some additional twists.

Last weekend I managed to get my wife to accompany me to visit a town on the border of Valencia with Catalonia called Benicarló, at first we wanted to see the artichoke festival, but it had been celebrated the week before. Here is a photograph of a plate with two artichokes in a local restaurant.

The same day after eating, we went a few kilometers from there, we went to another town called Peñiscola, which has a castle, quite well preserved. The castle was famous for housing Antipope Luna, who in the 15th century, castled in the fortress until his death. Here are several views of the Castle.
