Does anyone know what Speedlite would work with a TLb? Needs a flash sync cord as this model has no hot shoe.

You can pretty much use any manual speedlight with a PC connection.

Just watch out if you buy the Canon Speedlite 155 on something like eBay - its has a weird connector at one end and the cable is nigh impossible to source. I don't know if Canon used that on any other Speedlites. One end has a PC connection for the camera but the other end of the cord has two spade connectors that are set at an angle. I had the cable for ages in a box of junk that came with a Pentax and never did find out what it was for until I bought a 155 Speedlite. Extensive web searching only ever turned up one cable and the shop wanted something ridiculous for it - I think they were asking £70 :O but it was some time ago and my memory isn't reliable on that.
