    From last summer.
In the background is an old, metal washtub now used as a planter. It's filled to overflowing with little flowers.
    Shot with my 5D and Helios 40-2 (85mm f/1.5) & a cheap 2X Teleconverter, wide open.

The 40-2 is very soft wide open, but I like the often crazy out of focus rendering it gives. And while the TC makes it even softer, it enhances the bubbliness of the background.

That's pretty cool, did you do any post processing with the background?

Thanks, Phil. I did bump overall color and contrast. But the artsy rendering is from the camera and lens combo.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the way my 5D renders flowers. I really like the look I can get from it.
