Hello all. I'm Scotty from Perth Australia. I've joined in the hopes of sorting a few issues I'm having with my R6. This probably isn't the thread for that, but I'll list them anyways. :D

Error 70 - After researching it may need to go to Canon due to a defective memory buffer or issues within the mainboard related to power. I have the latest firmware 1.5.0
Distortion - I primarily shoot tennis photo's. I have changed the LENS ABERRATION CORRECTION settings to:
    Peripheral illum corr OFF
    Distortion correction OFF
    Digital lens Optimizer STANDARD

Some help here would be fabulous. I have searched the web and haven't found much.

    Cheers.

    Scotty

    Welcome to the forums Scotty!

Lens used? That said, it looks like its pretty long so you would not need to correct any lens distortion.

More importantly what are the settings for the images, I am seeing the ball blurred, it looks like your not using a fast enough shutter to freeze the action. The fix may be that simple.

You will definitely want to get with cannon if the hardware is acting up. If you have only had the r6 for a few weeks I would take it back for a new one from the retailer.

Hey Johnsey. Appreciate the reply. I'm using the Sigma 150 - 600. Shutter speed ranging from 1200 up, using Av as my camera setting. I used the 90D for a while and never had this type of distortion. I think I'll head to the shop I got the camera from and have a chat.
